About Chef Sam

Sam Duling is a professional Chef from Columbus, Ohio with over 20 years of cooking experience. Shortly after finishing culinary school at Columbus State he ventured off for a summer season working on Nantucket Island and never looked back.

Afterwards, Sam spent just over a decade cooking up and down the coast. From the James Beard House in New York City all the way down to Husk in Charleston, South Carolina; Chef Sam has spent many years focused solely on honing his craft and working in some of the best restaurants in the country.

Recently Sam has moved back home to Ohio from New England after selling his restaurant Hunky Dory in order to focus on his personal chef business and be closer to family. With a passion for working with local farmers and purveyors it is Sam’s hope to bring his love of seasonal ingredients and scratch cooking into your home. Each event Sam hosts he strives to provide a service that leaves you and your guests happy, nourished, inspired and excited to do it all over again.

No matter what the dietary concern or the style of service you choose, specializing in anything from cocktail parties, tasting menus, to wine dinners.
